A Strategic Visit Focused on Future Mobility
Easyrain was pleased to welcome Hyundai Motor Company for a strategic visit dedicated to the future of the collaboration between the two companies.
The meeting focused on the next development steps across AIS 2, Easyrain’s DAI platform, and new applications designed to support Autonomous Driving and Robotaxi operations in real-world road conditions.
With the presence of Mr. Joon Mo Park, Head of Department of the Advanced Engineering Division, and Mr. Sungwon Lee, Major Research Engineer, the visit marks another important milestone in the path toward integrating Easyrain technologies into Hyundai’s future vehicles.
Enabling Safer Vehicles in Real-World Conditions.
As vehicles become increasingly software-defined and autonomous, safety cannot depend only on perception systems. Real-world conditions such as rain, snow, ice, aquaplaning, and sudden grip loss remain among the most critical challenges for assisted and autonomous driving.
This is where Easyrain’s technology plays a distinctive role: from low-grip detection through the DAI platform to active grip restoration through AIS, our solutions are designed to help vehicles maintain control when road conditions become unpredictable.
The collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company represents a concrete step toward a safer and more reliable mobility ecosystem, where advanced vehicles can operate with greater confidence even in adverse weather and low-grip scenarios.
Autonomous driving cannot stop when road conditions change.
From detection to active intervention, Easyrain’s mission remains clear: enabling safer, smarter, and more reliable vehicles — today and tomorrow.
